October 2006 The accolade for Customer Service Excellence was made at the National Cycle Rail Awards 2006 in recognition of the upgrading of the Class 322 trains which operate along the popular commuter and tourist route. First ScotRail was also named the Train Operator of the Year for their commitment to integrated cycle and rail travel.
