24 November 2016 RAGES chairman writes to the Minister appealing for the final funding shortfall to be allocated from the new monies to be given to Scotland as announced in the Chancellor's Autumn Statement  
     
7 December 2016 ScotRail announces a short term solution for overcrowding on the North Berwick service by utilising 6-cars sets which will be training drivers.  This will last for three months, but will return to 4-car sets until the new trains become available in the Autumn.
