Since I found that ordinary strips seem to work quite well, I went into the cylinder code and deleted the special signs ( <,/,>,., etc.). So when I change the tool-made code to look like ordinary strips, they seem to appear the way they should, even in deeply stacked include hierarchies. Seems to be a bug with the special signs in tool-made code.
