If proper bell codes are implemented, the bell codes for different classes of train should not rely upon a parsing of the train's route number to determine the class, as per UK practice. Possibly there could be a Layout Properties section listing the bell events (e.g. ILC, TES, OOS, Cancelling) and the user can change the bell code representations from the defaults. (e.g. change TES from "2" to "1-6-2", if that's what they want to use instead).
