If you're working at an end of a carriage, it can be quite difficult to see what you're doing. If you could move the centre point of the camera around it would be much easier to zoom in on these areas. It could use the arrow keys to do the actual movement, retaining the existing scrollbars for adjusting the view. Suggested workround is to temporarily change the length parameter. As the centre of rotation is half its length, a model of 100 units will rotate at 50, so if its length is changed to 200, it will rotate at 100, ie the end of the model.
