East Linton's New Station - Progress of Construction

This photograph, taken from the bridge over the tracks where the old station was, shows why the curve in the tracks has resulted in the site of the new station being further west. The start of the new station can be seen at the end of the curve. 29/07/2022

The overhead wires are now moved to the new gantries and the old masts are being removed. 09/06/2022
The new overhead line gantries will replace the single masts which would have been within the platform width. Also the access pathway is being reinforced for the heavy plant, but will be re-instated when work is complete. 30/05/2022
